Film your One Minute Mentor & be part of Games Careers Week!

Digital Schoolhouse is looking for the ‘OMM50’ - 50 volunteers from the video games industry to each record a 1-minute video featuring themselves talking about their job role. Each video will be included in the ultimate Games Careers Week Lesson Pack created in partnership with Into Games, for schools to use during Games Careers Week (26 March - 2 April) and beyond.

We’re looking for content that will inspire and engage young people who want to get involved in the creative digital industries. If you work in the video games, screen, or the wider creative industries, we want to hear from you!

Can you help us find 50 volunteers?

‘OMM’ stands for One Minute Mentor which is an established careers resource that aims to inspire pupils with the breadth of roles available in the creative digital sector through punchy, digestible videos hosted on the Digital Schoolhouse YouTube channel. ‘50’ relates to the 50 exceptional volunteers who will record a 1-minute video for the Games Careers Week Lesson Pack.

It is a high priority for us to promote diversity in our One Minute Mentor videos and we would like to involve people from all genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds so that we can promote a diverse industry and encourage young people from all backgrounds to aspire to a career in the industry.
