Putteridge High School joins the Digital Schoolhouse programme in 2020 to offer a wide selection of computing workshops for primary school pupils to experience Computing in a creative and play-based way.

We look forward to offering unique experiences to get hands-on with computing and offer students the chance to program and control the world around them.

We are offering workshops in:

  • Modular programming with Robotics [Algorithms & Programming]

  • Introduction to Drone Programming [Algorithms & Programming]

  • Code Combat: Playing with Python [Algorithms & Programming]

  • Networks: Unplugged [Communication & the Internet]

  • Machine Code Mario [Data Representation]

  • Understanding how a Computer Works [Hardware and Processing]

  • Cyber Safe [IT / Digital Literacy & Online Safety]
